Initial Consultation | The First Visit. The first visit requires you to complete an intake questionnaire on your current problem. Dr. Randy Gordon then consults with you to determine if you are a candidate for Chiropractic care. A full examination will ensue with or without x-rays as determined by the Doctor. Dr. Gordon assesses you current problem and checks the integrity of your spine finding those areas that are out of alignment. You will receive a postural, neurological, and orthopedic exam that focuses on detecting misaligned vertebrae and irritated nerve segments called subluxations. Please budget adequate time for your initial consultation. The consultation may take anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes. Dr. Gordon will establish a diagnosis and carefully explain what is going on with your present complaint and outline a course of care. Treatment may or may not occur during the first visit. Barring any complications most treatments commence on the first visit. Treatment may include soft tissue therapy including Active Release, Adjustments and stretching and/or exercise. Chiropractic is one of the safest forms of care, without drugs or surgery; we work with your body and your nervous system to help you get healthier.
Subsequent Visits | Your Ongoing Care. We value your time and do not like you to wait. Subsequent treatments involve consultation, establishment of progress and treatment including soft tissue therapy including Active Release, Adjustments and stretching and/or exercise. Dr. Randy Gordon spaces his appointments our appropriately so you are rarely ever waiting.
Preventative Care | Staying Ahead of your Problem. As many people in our office do, once they return to health, they choose to come in once every three weeks to one month to have their spine checked. This is done in order to maintain the integrity of the spine and to keep ahead of any problems that may occur. Many people do not want to go back to the pain they originally had, consequently they choose to keep up with regular checkups.
