Registered Massage Therapist
Massage therapy grounded in movement and recovery, from a therapist who is also a certified personal trainer.
Rachel Madden is a Registered Massage Therapist at Sunshine Wellness. She holds an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with a specialisation in Rehabilitation from Western University, and she is a certified Personal Trainer.
That pairing shapes how she works. Hands-on treatment is one part of a longer arc that also involves movement, load and recovery, so an appointment with Rachel often ends with something to do between visits rather than only a booking for the next one.
Her approach is collaborative and she asks a lot of questions at the start. The aim is to find what is driving a symptom rather than to spend an hour on the spot that hurts, which sometimes means the work happens somewhere other than where you expected.
Her particular interests are sports injuries, TMJ dysfunction, headaches and general musculoskeletal pain. The wider massage therapy menu at the clinic also covers Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping and prenatal work, and appointments run from 30 to 90 minutes.
Outside the clinic she trains with resistance work and Pilates. Rachel joined Sunshine Wellness in August 2026 and is accepting new patients.
Bring the context as well as the symptom. What you do all day, how you train and what has changed recently all matter to the plan.
Massage therapy is booked by length rather than by technique, so choose the time you want and sort out the detail in the room.
Prices include HST.
