Assessment-led chiropractic with Dr. Caleb Beland, DC. He took over Dr. Randy Gordon’s patients in 2026 and is welcoming new ones.
Chiropractic at Sunshine Wellness starts with an assessment rather than an adjustment. Dr. Caleb Beland is registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, and a first visit is a 45 minute appointment spent working out what is going on before anything is treated.
After that, appointments are short and focused. You do not need a referral to book, and if you are not sure whether chiropractic is the right thing, the ten minute consultation, in person or by phone, is free.
Which of these you get depends on the assessment. They are combined rather than chosen off a menu.
Hands-on treatment of the joints and the tissue around them, including manual adjustment where it is appropriate.
Direct work on muscle and fascia, used alongside joint treatment when the restriction is in the tissue rather than the joint itself.
Fine needles with a gentle electrical current run through them into muscle.
A 60 minute appointment built around video of your own running, reviewed frame by frame alongside a joint and strength screen and a look at your shoes. Full details on its own page.
In person or by phone, no charge and no obligation. For working out whether chiropractic is the right direction before you book anything.
Not necessarily. Dr. Caleb took over the practice directly and your records came across with the clinic. No new assessment is needed if your last visit was less than 6 months ago with no change in health history (new injury, surgery, etc.), so you can book a regular treatment appointment.
No. Chiropractors in Ontario are primary contact practitioners, so you can book directly.
Electro acupuncture uses fine needles into muscle with a gentle current run through them, and prolongs the benefits of the treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture is a separate service here, provided by Rui Yao, R.Ac. See the acupuncture page for that.
No. Chiropractic services are HST exempt, so the prices on the services page are what you pay.
Wear something you can move in. If you are coming for a running assessment, bring the shoes you actually train in. If you have had imaging or reports done elsewhere, bring those too.
Book your visit online in under a minute, or give us a call. New patients are always welcome.
